Having an impressive background in business and entrepreneurship, Cenegenics co-founder John Adams leads an impressive team of knowledgeable physicians at Cenegenics. His long-time commitment to clinical and medical excellence has helped bring age management medicine to the forefront of 21st century health care.

Alvin B. Lin, MD
President of CERF and Course Director

A board-certified family physician, Dr. Lin is a faculty member and co-director of coursework at CERF, as well as a senior institute physician at the Cenegenics Medical Institute. Dr. Lin holds undergraduate degrees from the University of California, Riverside and a medical degree from Wake Forest University. He completed his residency in family medicine and a fellowship in geriatrics. In addition to his responsibilities at CERF, Dr. Lin is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Nevada School of Medicine.

Jeffrey Park Leake, MD
Faculty and Institute Physician

An expert in nutrition and physiology, Dr. Jeffrey Park Leake has for years been known for guiding patients with a progressive preventive approach to health. Now an instructor at CERF, Dr. Leake demonstrates the established Cenegenics model for achieving optimal health and youthful aging. Dr. Leake is a board-certified anesthesiologist educated at Ohio State University who maintained a 23-year tenure at Washington’s Harrison Medical Center Bremerton as Chief of Anesthesiology and Medical Director of Surgical Services. Dr. Leake is a certified personal trainer and is completing training as a Certified Strength and Conditional Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He is an avid participant in backcountry/extreme skiing, weight training, yoga, plyometric and kempo karate cardio training.

Beth A. Traylor, MD
Faculty and Institute Physician

Dr. Traylor is a board-certified family physician who brings to the Cenegenics Foundation a rich knowledge of—and on-going curiosity about—bio-identical hormone replacement. While this area is what brought her to Cenegenics for her own training, Dr. Traylor emphasizes in her teaching that hormone optimization is just one third of the nutrition-exercise-hormone balance triad. Dr. Traylor served as lead physician and branch medical officer for the San Jose Medical Group while maintaining a full clinical practice with a special area of interest in women’s health. She is a Diplomat of the American Board of Family Medicine, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians—not to mention an accomplished chef who can discuss culinary arts right alongside the medical importance of healthy nutrition.

Bina J. Patel, MD
Faculty and Institute Physician

The ability to focus on proactive medicine initially drew Dr. Bina J. Patel to the Cenegenics Foundation. Now a faculty member, Dr. Patel continues to espouse this positive approach to healthy aging. A Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Patel received her medical degree from the University of Southampton Medical School in Southampton, England. Her professional experience includes years at Philadelphia’s Hahnemann University Hospital, Temple University Hospital, the Carle Clinic Association in Bloomington, Illinois, and the Diagnostic Center of Medicine in Henderson, Nevada. An accomplished educator, Dr. Patel was an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
