John E. Adams 

John E. Adams serves as a faculty member for Cenegenics Education and Research Foundation (CERF). He also is cofounder, president, CEO and CPA of Cenegenics® Medical Institute, where his proven leadership abilities and strong financial vision contribute to the organization’s unparalleled success.  

A University of Illinois at Chicago graduate, Mr. Adams was appointed to the Dean’s Business Advisory Council of the College of Business Administration. His path to success began in Chicago as a certified public accountant. Before long, Mr. Adams was acknowledged for his consummate work ethic, earning him the role of senior consultant for Arthur Andersen & Company’s Emerging Business Group. 

Mr. Adams’ first entrepreneurial venture was as cofounder, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Medicon, Inc.—the world’s largest radiology management company. There, he demonstrated his extraordinary ability for developing and implementing a business model from a medical vision.  

Complementing his success, Mr. Adams serves on the board of the elite Young Presidents’ Organization.

Jeffry S. Life, MD, PhD
Chief Medical Officer, Cenegenics Las Vegas
 

Dr. Jeffry S. Life is a course codirector and faculty member for Cenegenics Education and Research
Foundation (CERF). He also is the CMO of Cenegenics Las Vegas. He is board certified in family medicine, a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (1990).

In addition, Dr. Life has completed Physician Training in Age Management Medicine, jointly sponsored by CERF and the Foundation for Care Management.

Passionate for science and learning, Dr. Life earned a BA in biology and chemistry from Albion College, a master’s in human physiology and pharmacology from Wayne State University School of Medicine, then a PhD in environmental toxicology from the University of Michigan. He also was a visiting scholar at the University of Michigan, having a joint appointment in the Department of Pharmacology, School of Medicine, Department of Environmental and Industrial Health and School of Public Health. 

He earned a medical degree from the University of Iowa, where he also worked part-time as a research scientist on studies regarding thermal stresses on hepatic drug-metabolizing enzyme systems, protein synthesis, heavy metals and chlorinated hydrocarbons. 

Dr. Life completed his residencies (family practice and internal medicine) at West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown, then became board certified and entered family practice and emergency medicine. In addition to his practice, he also became the medical director of both the Wyoming County Correctional Facility and Catholic Social Services. 

Then in 1998, after reaching a lifetime high in body weight, percentage of body fat and level of deconditioning, Dr. Life entered EAS the National Body-for-LIFE Challenge at age 60—and won the contest, becoming a Grand Champion. During this same period, he also became an assistant professor in the Department of Nutrition Exercise Science at Marywood University in Pennsylvania.

In 2004, Dr. Life moved into a proactive medical approach, practicing age management medicine
at Cenegenics Las Vegas, where he later became a senior institute physician. His commitment to the medical specialty was recognized in 2007, when he was presented with the first-ever Alan P. Mintz, MD award, given for medical excellence in age management medicine. That same year, Dr. Life assumed the chief medical officer role at Cenegenics Las Vegas.

Dedicated to learning, Dr. Life is completing a M.S. program in sports nutrition and exercise science, while working on an upcoming book and pursuing martial arts.
 

Alvin B. Lin, MD 

Dr. Alvin B. Lin is a course codirector and a faculty member for CERF and a senior Institute physician at Cenegenics Medical Institute.

Dr. Lin has completed Physician Training & Certification in Age Management Medicine, jointly sponsored by CERF and the Foundation for Care Management (FCM). 

Dr. Lin is board-certified in family medicine. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Lin earned his bachelor of science in biology and a post-baccalaureate in computer science from the University of California, Riverside. After receiving a medical degree from the Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University, Dr. Lin completed his residency in family medicine at the University of California, Davis.

Dr. Lin completed a fellowship in geriatrics at the Brody School of Medicine, East Carolina University. He earned the Certificate of Added Qualifications in geriatric medicine, then re-certified in family medicine. Dr. Lin continued at East Carolina, where he was appointed director of the Ambulatory Geriatrics Center and assistant clinical professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the Brody School of Medicine. In this capacity, Dr. Lin had the opportunity to train the next generation of family physicians, geriatricians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners, while delivering babies and caring for our elderly.

Dr. Lin also is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Nevada School of Medicine (Department of Family and Community Medicine). His diverse professional background, coupled with ACLS, ALSO, ATLS, BLS, NRP and PALS certifications, has made him an influential and successful mentor.

Beth A. Traylor, MD 

Dr. Traylor serves on the faculty for Cenegenics Education and Research Foundation (CERF) and is an Institute physician at Cenegenics® Medical Institute.  

Dr. Traylor has completed Physician Training & Certification in Age Management Medicine, jointly sponsored by CERF and the Foundation for Care Management (FCM). 

Dr. Traylor is a board-certified family physician, a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. 

Hailing from Chicago, Dr. Traylor earned an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Illinois. In 1984, she received a medical degree from the University of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School. She completed her family medicine residency in 1987 at St. Joseph Hospital, a Northwestern University affiliate. 

Moving into private practice, Dr. Traylor enjoyed positions in both administrative and clinical capacities. She served as lead physician and branch medical officer for the San Jose Medical Group, as well as maintained a full clinical practice with a special area of interest in women’s health. In 2000, Dr. Traylor moved to Las Vegas, where her growing interest in hormone optimization led her to the Cenegenics Medical Institute.

Throughout her career, Dr. Traylor was a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, received the American Medical Association Physician Recognition Award and was published for her work on behavioral factors and physical health.

Graham D. Simpson, MD

Dr. Graham D. Simpson is a CERF faculty member and an Institute physician at Cenegenics Medical Institute.
He has completed Physician Training & Certification in Age Management Medicine, jointly sponsored by
CERF and the Foundation for Care Management (FCM).

He is board certified in internal and emergency medicine. Dr. Simpson earned a bachelor of medicine and surgery degree from the University of Witwaterstrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. He completed his internship in internal medicine and obstetrics/gynecology at Baragwanth Hospital, also in Johannesburg. Later, he completed his pediatrics residency at the Berkshire Medical Center in Maine.

He went on to complete an emergency medicine residency in 1981 and an internal medicine residency in 1983, both at University Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr. Simpson practiced emergency medicine at University Medical Center.

In 1984, he became an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Reno, Division of Family Medicine
in Reno, Nevada. He spent the next ten years in private practice (internal medicine) in Reno, then practiced
emergency medicine at the Northern Nevada Medical Center for five years.

In 1999, he moved to Anguilla, British West Indies, where he had a private practice specializing in internal
and age management medicine. He returned to Reno three years later and founded a medical spa; in 2007, he joined Cenegenics.

Dr. Simpson is a well-known lecturer, consultant and author.


Paul S. Bodner, PhD

Paul S. Bodner is a faculty member at CERF and Executive Director of Practice Development and Physician Recruitment at Cenegenics® Medical Institute.

Mr. Bodner’s 25-year success in the healthcare administration and recruitment fields earned him recognition as a respected leader. A graduate of the University of Maryland, Mr. Bodner completed graduate work and served on the faculty of California’s LaVerne University as an instructor in the healthcare administration department. Mr. Bodner later served as CEO of the Del Amo Hospital in Torrance, California; vice president of recruitment for the Psychiatric Institutes of America; and executive director for physician recruitment for Charter Medical Corporation.

From 1992 to 1996, he was vice president of physician and executive recruitment for Regency Hospital
Company, Transitional Hospital Corporation and Community Psychiatric Centers. Mr. Bodner founded his own healthcare recruitment agency in 1996, focused on connecting physicians and CEOs to opportunities in the for-profit healthcare industry.

With Mr. Bodner’s extensive experience and knowledge of the healthcare community, he contributes significantly to the growth of Cenegenics Medical Institute, successfully placing physicians and creating a setting for excellent patient outcomes.
