Cenegenics Faculty
Mr. John E. Adams is the cofounder,president and CEO of the global leader in age management medicine, Cenegenics® Medical Institute. With over 20,000 patients worldwide, Cenegenics has centers in major metropolitan cities throughout the U.S., maintains affiliation with two medical schools, engages in investigative research with noted experts in the field and trains/certifies physicians in age management medicine. Mr. Adams is the founder and chairman of the World President’s Organization - Las Vegas Chapter, a global organization of more than 4,600 business leaders making significant contributions in their communities. He also holds memberships in the World President’s Organization - Chicago Chapter and the Young President’s Organization - Las Vegas Chapter—a global network of chief executives set on bettering leadership via education and exchanged ideas—as well as its invitation-only, graduate consortium, the Chief Executives Organization. Formerly, he served six years on the board of the Young Presidents’ Organization - Las Vegas Chapter, including as Chapter Chairman (2010). His first entrepreneurial venture was as cofounder, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Medicon, Inc.—the world’s largest radiology management company. Prior to that business success, Mr. Adams was a certified public accountant for Arthur Andersen & Company’s Emerging Business Group in Chicago. He is a University of Illinois at Chicago graduate, appointed to the Dean’s Business Advisory Council of the College of Business Administration.
Dr. Barber serves on the faculty of Cenegenics Education and Research Foundation (CERF) and is the CEO of Cenegenics® South Carolina. Dr. Barber has completed Physician Training & Certification in Age Management Medicine, jointly sponsored by CERF and the Foundation for Care Management (FCM). Dr. Mickey Barber is a board-certified anesthesiologist, a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology and former assistant professor of Tulane University. After earning a medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, Dr. Barber completed her residency (anesthesiology) and internship (general surgery) at Tulane University Medical Center as well as a fellowship in obstetrical anesthesia at Harvard Medical School/Brigham & Women’s Hospital. Committed to excellence, Dr. Barber has received several awards for clinical performance and teaching skills throughout her career, such as Outstanding Faculty of the Year (Tulane University), Robert D. Dripps Memorial Award (Outstanding Graduate Resident in Anesthesiology), Chief Resident (Tulane University), Surgical Intern of the Year (Tulane University), among others. Her achievements also include several appointments, research contributions and lecture presentations. Dr. Barber is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Medical Association, South Carolina Medical Association and Charleston County Medical Society.
Dr. Traylor has completed Physician Training & Certification in Age Management Medicine, jointly sponsored by CERF and the Foundation for Care Management (FCM). Dr. Traylor is a board-certified family physician, a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Hailing from Chicago, Dr. Traylor earned an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Illinois. In 1984, she received a medical degree from the University of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School. She completed her family medicine residency in 1987 at St. Joseph Hospital, a Northwestern University affiliate. Moving into private practice, Dr. Traylor enjoyed positions in both administrative and clinical capacities. She served as lead physician and branch medical officer for the San Jose Medical Group, as well as maintained a full clinical practice with a special area of interest in women’s health. In 2000, Dr. Traylor moved to Las Vegas, where her growing interest in bioidentical hormone replacement led her to the Cenegenics Medical Institute.
Throughout her career, Dr. Traylor was a
Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, received the
American Medical Association Physician Recognition Award and was
published for her work on behavioral factors and physical health. Michael L. Resnick, MD Dr. Michael L. Resnick is a faculty member of the Cenegenics Education and Research Foundation (CERF) and is an Institute physician at Cenegenics® Medical Institute. He has completed Physician Training & Certification in Age Management Medicine, jointly sponsored by CERF and the Foundation for Care Management (FCM). A graduate of Northwestern University Medical School, Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Resnick performed a rotating externship in thoracic diseases and cardiology at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, and a residency at Cornell University Medical Center, New York Hospital, New York, NY. Dr. Resnick—a former major in the US Air Force—holds medical licenses in several states, including California, Nevada, New York, Tennessee, North Carolina and Kentucky. His previous practices encompassed obstetrics, gynecology, laser surgery and infertility. Over the years, he used his medical expertise in radio and television, including as CBS Medical Reporter (Phoenix, AZ) and Healthwatch Reporter (Miami, Fl); ABC’s Medical Editor (Las Vegas, NV) and ABC’s Staying Healthy reporter (San Diego, CA). Dr. Resnick has also been the home physician for medical segments on ABC’s Gary Collins “The Home Show.” Dedicated to medicine, advanced learning and his patients, Dr. Resnick serves on the faculty at CERF and currently is a member of several organizations, including the American Medical Association, American Fertility Society, Alpha Epsilon Society and Phi Beta Kappa. His civic commitment encompasses work with the March of Dimes and the Make a Wish Foundation.
