Obtain a health history pertinent to
age management medicine

Interpret laboratory studies as
prescribed by CERF for assessing the physical, mental and
emotional status of the patient

Develop and implement an
individualized regimen for nutrition, exercise and hormonal
optimization

Develop and implement a plan to
resolve side effects and promote adherence to treatment regimen

Formulate a treatment plan, using
evidence-based research presented in home-study subsets, on-site
clinical practice and your personal review of the literature

references provided in Part 2.
Part 2 demonstrates your
competency in age management medicine (AMM). There are 50
questions, covering basic science/clinical science and 20 real-life
case studies, all multiple-choice. To answer these case study
questions, you must consider the complete patient history and be
able to interpret the laboratory results accompanying each case,
based on the standardized dosing algorithm given during the formal
training modules.
Eligibility for Part 2.
You must first satisfactorily complete Part 2 and be licensed
in good standing in the state you are practicing. Upon completing
Part 1 at the training site, the battery of basic
science/clinical science questions and case studies are made
available to you via a home study.
A Cenegenics Education and Research Foundation (CERF)
certificate is awarded when Part 1 and Part 2 are
successfully completed. The certificate states the certificate
holder has met certain standards and has passed an examination
conducted by CERF and the Foundation for Care Management (FCM),
demonstrating to the satisfaction of CERF that the certificate
holder has the training and qualifications needed to practice age
management medicine.

Submission, Grading,
Retaking Exam.
Answers to the basic science/clinical science questions and case
studies must be returned to the CERF faculty. Grading is completed
within five working days of receipt. Three out of four questions in
each case study must be answered correctly and a passing 80% earned
for each sub-topic to receive credit for the module. CERF must
receive the answers to the basic science/clinical science questions
and case studies (along with the evaluation) within 90 days from the
date you received the exam. If a passing score isn’t earned, the
entire module must be retaken; the module can be retaken a maximum
of two times. A $500 fee will be assessed for any exam taken
after the allotted 90-day period.
